Then I played PSO with my best friend again, this time with PSO BB on those same private servers the good times rolled, along with I said previously and we left it big all over again. And we heard tell of a mysterious new PSO game coming out in Japan in E3. They said it'd be coming into the west and we all freaked out about it. I never could enter the PSO2 Meseta Japanese release, it made me feel bad for not having continued my courses after highschool. After a while it seemed as though I was the only one hope so I just waited. PSO2 is now here and I can not wait so my friend and me can do it for it to hit PC. I will be waiting for him this moment, at the Xbox Live version.I will say, most of what you mentioned is reasonable, however such is the case for many games which have a fan translation, Official Translations are nearly always made with exactly what the company wants the translation to be like. Your point of view makes sense if SEGA was specifically aiming for individuals who are already playing with the JP version, in which case they'd have gone in another direction on... many different items. By your logic, they would also know that individuals would stand up and leave the model of Phantasy Star Online 2 they've been playing for ages. So, given the tone of these information feeds. And how different things are handled. This NA release is targetted more in potentially new players and people who've been waiting. Matters like Dialogue would need to be shifted to flow naturally and match the mood consequently.
I suppose"Fan Translation = Poor" was a bad name for that section, perhaps its cause a number of us are too utilized to the Fan Translation but most possess this unrealistic idea what goes on doesn't just happen with PSO2 and can be rather common. At the conclusion of the day, its what happens when you have people doing translation, distinct strategies would be obtained.
Yeah there were a few things I myself nitpicked from the fan translations... Like when Phantom first published, it was for some reason translated as"Villain", probably as a joke, but they fixed that soon afterwards. And turning"Luther" to"Loser" is not how it's written in Japanese either, I believe that was also done as a joke. But honestly, I don't care so much about all of this, provided that they do not make the error SEA PSO2 made with calling Force that a"Wizard", or techs"Magic". And maintain EQs consistent with the story updates. From what I discovered from SEA PSO2, they had the EQs release prior to the narrative of those EQs were released. Hoping they will not also follow SEA PSO2's mistake of binding costumes to character/account.
The Majority of us started with Phantasy Star Online on Dreamcast, a few began on GameCube or Xbox and many others began with Phantasy Star Universe. All our journeys matter and our experiences is awesome to hear about. What's your story? I began with PSO v1 on Dreamcast, but sadly - either because of area locks or an returned game having the code redeemed (or perhaps even a shop staff member lifting the Hunter License code) - I was unable to play with online. Before returning it disappointed, I was able to achieve Dark Falz on ordinary. Eventually, I obtained my character to Lv 200 and loved every second of it, made a great deal of pso2 buying meseta friends and played on PC Ver two. That is a shot of some local friends and I planning to shoot on Vol Opt.
