That is why I made the change

OSRS feels more like the true runescape I enjoy playing than RS3. I was max before archeology, half way to 120 thieving, and I made the conscience decision that I'd rather re-max every ability from level 1 at OSRS than play RuneScape gold and grind out 1 99. I have also transferred to OSRS from RS3 recently for comparable reasons. Coming out of a Dungeons and Dragons background (which much of early RS was very much based on) I have never had a campaign in which our party made it past level 10.
Even with just like 3 decades of playing the same character. Building a character and fleshing them out durning the first levels is rewarding and the impossibility of reaching the upper echelons makes the world seem vast and unbelievable. Because I embraced the Role-Playing aspect of this MMORPG I left so many different characters back in pre-eoc. I would just set myself challenges that were special or have a particular theme for the character. Nowit feels like everything is about end game content/maxing. Sure there should be plenty of end game content.
Nonetheless, it feels like that the community is centered on. My account is a f2p in RS3 a few more not away plus with a 99s. I quit Runescape for a period of about five years and returned October. Pretty much everyone I knew in the community which plays is only grinding out virtual 120s/200m and has maxed. Or maxing again on another/Ironman account. I am quite near my intentions of getting 99 Defence, Prayer, and Magic, along with my friend who has maxed now in f2p requested me that ability I went to work on next. I had been really like. There likely won't be another. I'm getting these 99s because they had been youth dreams or because I enjoy them. But I really don't put any value in maxing.
I am not planning to do something I hate like angling or Woodcutting for hours upon hours just to see the numbers go up. I mean, I might, if I was still a child with all the time on earth. But in my life I want out of buy OSRS gold my spare time. I want something rather than afkable. So I created the ultimate Ironman and transferred to OSRS. And I've put myself additional challenges and limitations. And while I could ultimately do the same thing I discover that OSRS's unique gear system makes account assembles more rewarding to playwith. Along with the community (especially YouTube content creators) is much more enthusiastic concerning this type of game play.
