"Tomorrow marks the celebration of Nike’s Air Max Day, and alongside the debut of the Air Max 2090, nike air max 90, and others, lands yet another collection between the Swoosh and long-time collaborator UNDEFEATED. The famous streetwear boutique took the liberty of re-crafting the classic Air Max 90 into a trio of new colorways, and following the release of the black iteration last week, comes their “Pacific Blue” offering that will be dropping as an Undefeated exclusive. From a visual standpoint, the shoes are smothered with vibrant blue, pink, and volt accents sprawled across its entirety, and serve as a direct homage to retro ACG running elements. Structural modifications are executed through the removal of the silhouette’s mud flap, as well as hairy suede Swoosh logos which have been amplified in size.

Inspired by the recognizable influence ALIFE has had on the streetwear culture of puma new york, Puma has called upon the label’s simple, yet elegant design styling for two renditions of the iconic Clyde silhouette. Decked out in premium-crafted suede, the newest pair of Clydes will come in a Forrest Green and a Navy color scheme with a tonal rubber toe cap, ALIFE block branding on their heel counters in red, and a gold foil “NEW YORK NEW YORK” hit on each of their tongues. Much like ALIFE, Puma has deep roots within the Big Apple, especially as far as the Clyde is concerned, as New York Knick’s great Walt Frazier became the world’s first signature basketball athlete, upon requesting a custom made pair of Puma Suedes with a wider fit to aid his on-court play style.

The vans sk8 hi is certainly enjoying its current place among the California brand’s most popular silhouettes. A modified take on the timeless Sk8-Hi that boasts a lateral zipper and alternate detailing on both the heel and midsole, the Decon is perfectly on-trend with its stripped-back, intentionally imperfect look. It’s now hit the market in a brand-new colorway that’s truly a tale of two shoes: the lateral side is all business with a stark black suede, while the medial side offers more whimsical stylings, featuring a black/grey checkerboard print on the upper and a small touch of black/white checkerboard print on the midsole. Alternating lace loops, an upside-down heel piece, and a re-positioned red heel badge that’s been moved to the midfoot then complete the modified look."
